A Few Words About Hope

During this very difficult period in our lives, I thought it might be good to share a few words of hope.

Hope is important because it can make the present moment less difficult to bear. If we believe that tomorrow will be better, we can bear a hardship today.

Thich Nhat Hanh

All human wisdom is summed up in two words; wait and hope.

Alexandre Dumas Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness.

Desmond Tutu At the end of the day, we must go forward with hope and not backward by fear and division.

Jesse Jackson We have always held to the hope, the belief, the conviction that there is a better life, a better world, beyond the horizon.

Franklin D. Roosevelt

Just as despair can come to one only from other human beings, hope, too, can be given to one only by other human beings.

Elie Wiesel
