As so many try to drag our country back into darkness, it is important to remember you are not alone. While it is understandable to feel frightened and beaten down, joining with others in the community can help keep anxiety in check and help you feel stronger, while amplifying your voice. It may help, too, to remember all those who are working on behalf of the LGBTQ community:

American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) https://www.aclu.org/issues/lgbtq-rights

The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) https://www.hrc.org/

Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) https://www.glaad.org/

GLBTQ Legal Advocates and Defenders (GLAD) https://www.glad.org/

Global Action for Trans Equality (GATE) https://gate.ngo/

Movement Advancement Project (MAP) Movement Advancement Project (MAP) is an independent, nonprofit think tank that provides rigorous research, insight and communications that help speed equality and opportunity for all. https://www.lgbtmap.org/

National Center for Lesbian Rights (NCLR) https://www.nclrights.org/

National Center for Transgender Equality (NCTE) https://transequality.org/

Parents & Friends of Lesbians & Gays (PFLAG) https://pflag.org/

Transgender Law Center https://transgenderlawcenter.org/

Transgender Legal Defense & Education Fund (TLDEF) https://www.transgenderlegal.org/

And so many more!

I have tasted freedom. I will not give up that which I have tasted. --Harvey Milk
